A cinephile's familiar territory is the plethora of movies and shows. And we know it so well that in
India there are a huge countless number of them. Indeed, Bollywood is loved by everyone; it's
placed at the core of an Indian's heart and pride. The reason lies in the diversity of India's film
industry, the bond it has with the actors, the films, the plot, the endless memories spent with the
movies. It's structurally pleasing dialogues and the crazy captivating performances.
Well, while many are extremely crazy and extremely enthusiastic about it , playful arguments
and many discussions regarding the vast film industry and Bollywood never rest.
iFlims tapped into the enthusiasm of these film crazy ppl and decided to feed on their interest a
bit more. This was done by CineMasti Quiz Challenge that was organized by iFlims and
sponsored by the Rescue Federation and The Toxic Film. This quiz contained 20 questions
relating to the gigantic Bollywood universe. It included questions from the other movies that
remain evergreen for its cultured and well made plots to the new age grossing films, that hold
significant developmental prints. While iFlims main objective remained to engage the Bollywood
loves across India and provide them with a path to channelize their interest, the winners were
given exciting cash prizes. This was done so to motivate the participants further, this was set as
reward for just loving Bollywood. It's quite a simple objective that just thanks the audience that
majorly boosted and helped raise Bollywood hype and fame.
The day of 15 Aug holds pride and significance in the hearts of Indians, this day was the best
day to express even more love to India and its film industry.
On this wonderful day 500 participants eagerly awaited the anticipated quiz.
The quiz was conducted in an online mode on the Unstop platform, the registrations were free
and opened up a few days before the quiz started. Around 40,000 people were eagerly waiting
for their chance to shine and showcase their depth of knowledge. Since the participation was
limited, only 500 of the many interested people could go through the registration process. The
registration ended at 9am on 15th august , following which from 12- 3 pm, hundreds of
participants began competing and reminiscing their Bollywood knowledge to the fullest. There
were 20 questions with time limits. The questions touched the various parts of Bollywood and
the Indian film industry as a whole. It included questions on the movies, actors, dialogues, the
scenes, various songs, etc. The participants enjoyed the quiz thoroughly and engaged well with
the questions. It brought out memories from the past. The captured moments from the bygone
times were revisited and explored deeply, bringing up various and countless joyful memories
ranging from the timeless classics to the modern blockbusters. The emotions ran high near the
end of the quiz, when the participants continuously sought for the right answer to claim the title
of a supreme cinephile.
Now the results were in on the 17th of august. 500 participants were awaiting, the first place
was claimed by Dr. Indrani . She had surpassed all the 499 participants and gone to the top,
becoming the #1 film enthusiast. She won a lot more than validation of her knowledge, she won
₹3,000 along with a certificate. The second place was won by Pratap Singh Rajput who beat the
other participants and equally claimed a rejoiced position winning a total of ₹1,500 and a
certificate. The rest of the participants were given certificates, which became souvenirs of the
experience. The participants took away a major sense of achievement and a wonderful
experience.
Evidently ,there were a lot of film enthusiasts . seeing the number of impressions growing ,
surely iFlims would consider expanding the participation seats in the future events.
It's important to note the significance of events like the CineMasti Quiz Challenge too, as it
fosters the love for cinema. Such engaging activities help maintain and celebrate the rich
tradition of Bollywood and Indian cinema.
